Is your produce chemical free?

Our produce is grown without the use of pesticides and herbicides. All produce we sell at our on-site farm shop, The Lil' Tomato, is grown here at the farm.  Almost 100% of the plants are grown from seed that was saved from it's parent plant in the seasons prior.  We do not believe in using synthetic fertilizers and we try to honor the health of the earth by allowing it to rest and replenish itself.  We are grateful for all that this land provides and we do not wish to strip it or taint it with harsh chemicals for any purpose. If it gives us beautiful eggplants but lopsided carrots... well, then, that's the way it goes. And we are happy to have a kooky looking carrot.

What do you grow?

We grow all the things that the middle of America will commonly find on their dinner plate. Corn, asparagus, carrots, beets, rhubarb, peaches, pears, apples, raspberries, radishes, cucumbers, beans, peas, potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, peppers of all kinds, tomatoes, dill, oregano, basils, tarragon, rosemary, mints, onions, leeks, lemon balm, bee balm, hyssop, lavender, echinacea,yarrow, catnip, strawberries, grapes, stevia, chamomile, and more....
